Creativity vs Aggression
When aggression takes over our mind we effectively lose our mind - because aggression leaves no space for creative states of mind like joy, love and imagination. Additionally, aggression costs us our free will and self-control.
Aggression and the stress force anger
effectively "become" us, meaning our real
self gets edged out.
Mastering aggression comes from asserting our own, true - creative - will and self. As part of this, it means our mastering of those ambitions that aggression sustains - like those of putting ourselves "above" others, and even of revenge.
Aggression and the stress force anger
fill our head with one opinion about power - namely that it is the kind that people fight over.
Recovery from aggression depends first of all on our having the honesty, humility and courage to admit our own aggression.
We need to see ourselves - as in our real
self - as not trapped by compulsive aggression and animosity, but as creative human beings full of love, understanding and patience. We need to see our own, true - creative - will and self not as givens we can afford to take for granted, but as treasures to be kept safe from stress forces like anger
